Use Case Scenarios
How many times have you visited a web site and discovered that nobody has given the slightest thought to how you might use the site? The classic example of this is airline sites, which continue to insist on having you select flight times before telling you the cost of those flight times. And they wonder why everyone just goes straight to Expedia or Orbitz. Use cases would help the vast majority of sites out there, and they're not hard or costly to do.

There are several variations on use cases that we provide. The most common involves reviewing site metrics, determining site goals and gaining an understanding of the user base. This information is then developed into several use cases based upon user types. How are people using your site? How could they be using it? For a highly functional site, use cases can be created to determine user paths and different iterations of site functionality.
